The Park w Lesley, Peter and Sydney

It was great seeing Lesley, Peter and Sydney on Fathers day.  We haven't seen each other since the wedding day. We met up in a small park in Whitby with the goal of taking some pictures of the family.  Sydney made it a lot of fun and challenging.  She was like Dora the Explorer, checking out every bit of the park and somethings more then once, just to make sure she didn't miss anything the first time out.   Sydney is a little cutie.  By the end of our time in the park she was walking with Dad and stopped, looked back at me and waited for me to catch up.  Then took my hand and walked with me, Tooooooo Cute.  Happy 2nd Birthday this weekend Sydney.  I hope you have a great party.
Cheers, David

Engagement Session with Chris, Joanne and MacKenzie

I met up with Chris and his fiance Joanne and her daughter MacKenzie for some photos at Rosetta McLain Gardens in Scarborough.  We had a lot of fun taking shots that late morning do jumping in and out of shelter as the rain came and went.  I thought the photo shoot would be the highlight of the day but I was wrong.  I learned something new this day, it was Step Fathers day for this soon to be family :)  The family let me know they went out for breakfast before meeting and Chris receiving gifts from MacKenzie.  Welcome to fatherhood Chris.  I posted a few of my favs, hope you like them and you can get a good sense of how much fun we had, and how beautiful the three of them are together.  I can't wait for the wedding in September.
Thanks again for a great time

The Wedding of Rachelle & Derek

Although the forecast called for overcast skies and rain on Saturday the opposite seemed to happen and a beautiful wedding day came together for Rachelle & Derek.  I first met with Rachelle, her parents and her bridesmaids at the hotel.  Rachelle was the picture of contained excitement.  Looking beautiful in a layered gown Rachelle was easy going and open to try anything.  It made for a great start and I knew the day would only get better.

Leaving the hotel I headed to St. Leo The Great Roman Catholic Church in Brooklin for the ceremony and then onto Royal Ashburn for the reception.  Pictures with the friends and family ran smoothly and the kids in the bridal party were full of energy which was almost contagious!  Spending some time alone with Rachelle & Derek in the gardens proved to offer great opportunities as the newlyweds were able to capture a few quiet moments together.

I had a fantastic day with Rachelle, Derek, their friends and family.  From start to finish everything went smoothly and I had fun being a part of their day.
Thanks again for having me share your most beautiful day :)
